Did the Bloomington or Normal cops pull you over and give you a bunch of traffic tickets? Are you afraid of losing your license? If the answer to these questions is yes, retain an attorney who used to prosecute traffic cases for McLean County.

Remember that under the Illinois graduated driver's license law, persons under 21 who receive two convictions for moving violations in a 24 month period will have their driving privileges suspended. For persons over 21, three convictions in a 12 month period will result in a suspension. A speeding ticket can be more costly than the $75 fine. Consult a lawyer before sending in the ticket.

Convictions for more serious violations such as failure to yeild for an emergency vehicle (Scott's Law), DUI (Driving Under the Influence) and drag racing may result in a suspension or revocation of your driving privileges.
